SUBJECT: 2011 Tampa Industrial Golf League Jamboree

The 2011 TIGL Jamboree will be held at Champions Gate on Saturday, October 8th. A change in the method of paying this year. $75.00 - includes (1) league fee, which provides a roster spot allowing the person to play in matches during the season and (2) a 2011 Summer Paradise Golf Card; does not include TIGL Jamboree fee. If at a later date the player decides he or she wants to attend the jamboree, an additional $85.00 must be paid. $155.00 at the beginning of the season - includes (1) league fee (2) 2011 Summer Pardise Golf Card, and (3) TIGL Jamboree fee. The player can send a substitute to the Jamboree if he or she cannot attend.

As the team captain, you are expected to pass on information concerning the Jamboree to all the members of your team.

This year, we will again be able to accommodate guests for both the golf outing and the banquet. But the number of spaces available for guests is limited, and these spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. As a result, if you have guests who wish to participate, it is imperative that you send in the registration form and payment for your team as soon as possible.

What: Tampa Industrial Golf League Jamboree

  • The 2011 TIGL Jamboree will be held at Champions Gate on Saturday, October 8th.
  • Each rostered player can request one (and ONLY ONE) individual to play with; that person does not have to be from the same team.
  • We will have shotgun starts on both courses-the morning tee time is 7:30 a.m. and the afternoon tee time is 1:00 p.m. If you have a preference with respect to a starting time, tell your captain to indicate your preference on the Jamboree registration form. The TIGL Jamboree Committee will try to accommodate your request, but be aware that requests are handled first-come, first-served; try to get your team captain to send in the team registration form as soon as possible.
  • Morning registration will begin at 6am. Afternoon will begin at 11:30am
  • A limited number of guests can be accommodated.
  • The Jamboree golf tournament is an individual event based on your league handicap. Everyone who qualifies will be assigned a flight based on his or her TIGL handicap so that each individual will compete against golfers with similar handicaps.

  • For those who wish to stay at the Omni Hotel , please check their web site and contact them, you might want to add that you are playing in our tournament, at this moment there is no special rates, please check with them for room reservations.
